Visually inspects castings for defects and marks inferior castings to be removed from process line to scrap storage area. Use gauges to check castings for conformance to required specifications. Starting pay of $15.06 an hour with a potential to make $19.36 to $20.65 an hour after a ninety working day probationary period. Responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment such as large payloader, backhoe, maintainer and other equipment for moving, loading, unloading and relocating materials and excavating for construction sites and property improvements as required.
In this position, the trainee will train in the manufacturing facility in Tyler, TX to learn all processes including manufacturing, quality control, shipping and customer service. After completion of this process, they will then be relocated to an assigned sales territory somewhere in the U.S.
Performs a large variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, and utilization of electrical energy. Coordinates, participates, assists, constructs, fabricates, installs, repairs and maintains generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems and electronic controls as required for plant operations. Assists supervisor in planning, scheduling and assigning various jobs. Order parts and materials for electrical department from warehouse and purchasing department as required to install and maintain equipment. Locates, diagnoses and repairs troubles in electrical systems and equipment. Works with electrical hand and power tools, measuring and testing instruments. Assists maintenance mechanics in dismantling or partially dismantling machines and mechanical equipment to diagnose source of trouble and makes necessary repairs or adjustments as required. Uses and interprets for others complicated blueprints and drawings. Troubleshoots breakdowns to determine cause of trouble. Must keep work of unit on schedule. May give on-the-job instructions to other Electricians. Keeps work area safe, clean, and orderly, wears proper safety equipment and follows all safety rules and procedures. Performs other miscellaneous duties as required.
