Under the direction of Engineering Mgr, receives incoming orders or items, unpacks, and inspects for damages. Stocks electrical parts, automotive parts, equipment, fuel, and general supplies. Responsible for receiving truckload quantities of material, check it in at the gate and routing of material into the plant. Maintain computerized inventory data input into the system. Assists Purchasing Manager in the purchasing of authorized supplies and material for the Plant.
Responsible for various duties necessary in coordinating and distributing necessary paperwork in pulling, packing, shipping, receiving, assembling and storing product. Also responsible for data entry for processing shipments, dispatching LTL and truck orders to shipping dock for loading & receiving product from production.
Tyler Pipe has immediate openings for Production Workers in a multitude of departments. Pay ranges vary from $14.73 an hour up to $21.65 depending on the position available. Applicants must be able to work on the second shift (2:30pm to 1:00am). Successful applicants will perform a multitude of duties such as creating cores, setting cores into molds, pouring iron and chipping and grinding castings into useable fittings. Candidates should have a steady, documented work history, be team oriented with good communication skills and a possess a commitment to safety. Tyler Pipe is a foundry, so we are looking for people that have the physical ability to work in extreme heat. Performs a large variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, and utilization of electrical energy. Coordinates, participates, assists, constructs, fabricates, installs, repairs and maintains generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems and electronic controls as required for plant operations. Assists supervisor in planning, scheduling and assigning various jobs. Order parts and materials for electrical department from warehouse and purchasing department as required to install and maintain equipment. Locates, diagnoses and repairs troubles in electrical systems and equipment. Works with electrical hand and power tools, measuring and testing instruments. Assists maintenance mechanics in dismantling or partially dismantling machines and mechanical equipment to diagnose source of trouble and makes necessary repairs or adjustments as required. Uses and interprets for others complicated blueprints and drawings. Troubleshoots breakdowns to determine cause of trouble. Must keep work of unit on schedule. May give on-the-job instructions to other Electricians. Keeps work area safe, clean, and orderly, wears proper safety equipment and follows all safety rules and procedures. Performs other miscellaneous duties as required.
Coordinates, participates and works with Maintenance Mechanic in examining machines and mechanical equipment to diagnose source of trouble.
