Tyler Pipe, as a subsidiary of McWane, Inc., is a nationwide leader in manufacturing cast iron soil pipe and fittings located in Tyler, Texas. Responsibilities

Recruitment and Onboarding:
• Spearhead recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and recommending hires.
• Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, coordinating paperwork completion, conducting orientation sessions, and training.

 

Employee Relations:
• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and swift resolution.
• Assist in the resolution of workplace conflicts or issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.

 

Performance Management:
• Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback discussions.
• Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions when necessary.

 

Benefits Administration:
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits.
• Act as a liaison between employees and benefit providers, resolving inquiries and discrepancies promptly.

 

HR Policies and Compliance:
• Assist in crafting and implementing HR policies and procedures to uphold organizational standards.
• Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

 

Data Management and Reporting:
• Maintain meticulous employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Generate insightful reports and analytics to inform HR decision-making and compliance efforts.

 

Training and Development:
• Coordinate comprehensive employee training and development initiatives.
• Identify training needs and recommend tailored programs or resources to foster continuous growth.

 

HR Projects and Initiatives:
• Actively participate in HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, diversity and inclusion programs, and process enhancements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources required. Master's degree preferred.
5 years of recent experience in full-time human resources roles, with exposure to various HR functions.
Proven knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and social skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Meticulous with strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
