Operates stationary grinders to remove fins, knots, blemishes and parting lines from a variety of castings. Visually inspects castings for defects and marks inferior castings to be removed from process line to scrap storage area. Use gauges to check castings for conformance to required specifications. Keeps work area clean, orderly and safe at all times. Performs other miscellaneous duties as required.
Top Pay of $20.15 after a 90-day working probationary period. This job requires continuous physical exertion. We are looking for people with a strong, conitnuous work history who don’t mind hard work and long hours. There are no easy jobs at Tyler Pipe! The hours for this position are from 5am to 3pm Mon-Fri.

Must be able to follow instructions from lead person or supervisor. Requires considerable knowledge of proper grinding, chipping and inspection procedures. Equivalent to four years of High School.
